Job Description

We are searching for a Program Manager ll. The position is a 1 yr. contract assignment. This position is intended for program oversight role requiring technical experience such as engineering or construction. The person will be supporting the Gas Engineering team with closing out old projects. The person must be able to get data/information to complete theclose out.

Location: Denver, CO

Hybrid position and 40 hrs work week.

May have 1 day trip to a site (what was actually installed and approx. 2 hours from Denver, CO.

Responsibilities

The person will be researching everything in SAP to identify what may be missing in the requirements to close out and capitalize a project. Any items not found in SAP may need tobe as-built in the field to ensure all assets are being booked correctly.

This research items may include:

  • Proof of labor charges - sometimes these are in invoices that accounting department does not have, or needs more detail from the vendors
  • Proof of materials being purchased and tying to list of assets being installed. Ensure this meets current capitalization policy
  • Journal Entries/Reclasses. Projects could have been charged incorrectly, not charged at all, were set up incorrectly, or do not meet capitalization policy.
  • As-builts need to be reviewed and then finalized to match assets listed on the enhancement tab
  • Cost variances
  • Pulling reporting from Business Objects, PowerPlan, Workbook, IBM Content Manager, Master Data Online (MDO), and SAP to support closeout efforts

Requirements

  • Must have engineering background or Oil/Gas, Field work.
  • Must have an Engineering degree or PMP-.
  • Must have Software SAP or ERP software.
  • Must able to look /understand design drawings. MS Office Suite, Excel will be use heavily.

Preferred any Utility experience.
