Primary Purpose:

Responsible for residential mortgage processing by functioning as the liaison between the mortgage originators, attorneys and customers. Ensures all time sensitive disclosures and documents are delivered with accuracy and on a timely basis.

Essential Duties:

* Acts as primary liaison regarding inquiries from originators, attorneys, underwriters and customers to discuss the loan process, resolve issues, and explain regulations (including TRID). Informs underwriter and supervisor of any documentation or customer issues relative to the loan process

* Review Loan Estimate and residential loan application data entry and update LOS as necessary

* Complete phone calls to clients prior to sending out documents to review the loan process, required documentation and loan conditions as necessary

* Issue initial application package and send to client

* Review and upload credit documents to the eFolder. If any documents are incomplete or require additional documentation, request updates from clients as necessary

* Transfer "complete" file to underwriting

* Gather all necessary conditions and provide frequent updates to clients as needed

* Conduct weekly pipeline calls with loan officers and supervisor

* Clear loan files for closing at least 3 business days prior to the closing date

* Issue Closing Disclosures after reviewing for accuracy after they are prepared by the loan officer

* Issue Scheduling Sheet to attorney or title company

* Review ECOA, Disclosure Report, and all other daily reports to endure compliance with UniBank and regulatory requirements

* Review Red Flag Report and resolve all issues including potential OFAC hits

* Review Flood certificates to validate flood zone & Review Flood certificates to validate flood zone and request appropriate documentation as applicable to ensure sufficient and acceptable flood insurance is in place at the time of closing

* Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment

Minimum Education, Skills & Experience:

* High School diploma or equivalent required; College degree preferred.

* 3-5 years of loan processing experience helpful

* Strong computer and organizational skills including MS Office required, Encompass preferred

* Must be able to set priorities and follow direction

* Demonstrated ability to pick up the phone and call clients to answer questions and provide updates

* Must have good verbal, written, organization, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

* Financial services/lending/banking experience preferred
