ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our Quincy, MA or Boston, MA office.

Under the direction of a Project Manager, this professional will support all aspects of traffic and highway engineering projects including leading design efforts in constrained space urban locations, conducting field work; assisting in the preparation of plan sets; and assisting in report and permit writing activities. This person will also mentor junior level staff in technical skills and work within established budgets and timelines to deliver reports and designs.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Typically requires at least 5 years of experience in traffic and highway design; bridge experience will be considered
  • Experience with MassDOT a plus
  • EIT or PE required; ability to obtain PE licensure within 2 years preferred
  • Intermediate skills in AutoCAD, Civil3D, Synchro, Vissim and/or Microstation
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills including the ability to present technical content to non-technical audiences
