Job Description

Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM), Department of Psychiatry, is seeking a Medical Director, Addiction Services to join our faculty.

We are seeking a clinical psychiatrist with a passion for program development and strategic planning alongside clinical, ambulatory experience with a complex behavioral health population. This is a full-time ambulatory position overseeing out-patient addiction services. Opportunities exist for research/educational contributions.

Requirements:

  • Medical Degree
  • Board eligible/certified in Psychiatry
  • Experience in Addiction Psychiatry desired
  • Preference for Board eligible/certified in Addiction Psychiatry or ABMS/ABPM in Addiction Medicine

Overview Department of Psychiatry: The Department of Psychiatry, located at our main campus in Downtown Boston, has a range of ambulatory based clinical opportunities reflective of an exciting period of departmental growth. We are expanding our care for a diverse, underserved patient population facing a range of behavioral health, and often co-occurring physical health conditions. We are seeking skilled, passionate, mission driven psychiatrists who are looking to make an impact.

Compensation: Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM) offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (BUCASM) appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications.
