Job/Internship Description

Founded in 2002, MAS Building and Bridge is a New-England based General Contractor that specializes in Heavy-Civil Construction, including bridge, rail, marine, and utility projects.

Our goal is to provide interns with a well-rounded experience, assisting our Project Engineers with daily tasks to support our field operations. Our belief is that learning is best achieved at the jobsite, so the internship program is primarily focused on field-related tasks.

We are looking for motivated, detail-oriented Civil Engineering and Construction Management students interested in learning more about heavy civil construction. Some of the daily tasks for an intern/co-op include:

  • Assistance with Layout and Operation Planning
  • Material Procurement and Submissions
  • Quality Control Planning and Inspections
  • Quantity Tracking and Takeoffs
  • Coordination with Site Personnel and Subcontractors

A typical workday is from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday (40 hours per week excluding lunch).

A driver's license and access to a car is necessary as MAS's office and projects are typically not accessible to public transportation.

MAS's main office is located in Norfolk, MA less than 3 miles from Gillette Stadium.

Women, Veterans, and minorities are encouraged to apply.
