Utility Operators at Covanta receive competitive wages of at least $23 per hour and have overtime available. Comprehensive Company Benefits are included. Medical Insurance & other Benefits begin DAY ONE of Employment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning
- Painting
- Grounds keeping
- Preventative maintenance
- Operation of mobile equipment, including skid steer loader and forklift
- Working in the boilers during maintenance outages
- Helping to erect scaffolding
- Moving equipment and materials
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Perform safety inspections
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license.
- Prior experience in an industrial environment is desired.
- Must obtain a MA Hoisting license to operate mobile equipment within 6-months of hire.
- Must be able to work rotating work schedule with nights, and some weekends
