Senior Financial Analyst I

What you'll be doing:

  • Report all financial aspects of the Corporate P&L - either for a specific functional area or for a business unit.
  • Prepare periodic operating expense forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Summarize and articulate financial performance to your internal customers, Corp FP&A teams and/or accounting.
  • Prepare and present regular financial and operating performance reporting for Corporate FP&A, including variance drivers of performance and trend analysis.
  • Establish strong working relationships with internal, key functional area leaders, helping them navigate the financial details of their business.
  • Financial Modeling, Strategic Planning and Analysis. Assemble findings, recommendations, and reporting for executive-level management.
  • Support Senior Management on various ad hoc reports and special projects as required.
  • Participate in financial monthly close process; ensure conformity with GAAP as well as internal guidelines and procedures.
  • Work effectively with finance colleagues to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate deliverables.

What you bring to the table:

  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, financial profit and loss statements, depreciation and amortization, capitalization.
  • Curiosity and Willingness to learn/understand the business beyond the financials.
  • Ability to simplify difficult concepts.
  • Ability to connect with different audiences.
  • Familiarity with Excel; working knowledge of Oracle, Essbase, PowerBi or other visualization reporting tools.

Qualifications :

What's needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Business Administration, Finance, or STEM subjects or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2+ years of Corporate FP&A or Accounting experience
  • 1-2+ years of Essbase, Oracle, Other Financial Systems experience
  • 1-2+ years of Excel Modeling experience
  • Work from Office at least 3 days per week
