This opportunity allows you to build upon your current experience while working with the latest sea-based surveillance technologies. This is an exciting new opportunity for a Test/QA Engineer with experience testing the following systems and sub-systems: data network and communication system, mechanical and electronic systems, EO/IR and RADAR sensors systems, or Security and Surveillance systems.

As a Test and QA Engineer, you will participate in the development and execution of the program's Test Plans and Procedures. The program includes design, build, test and delivery of multiple security and surveillance sensor systems networked across multiple platforms working together to detect, identify, and track objects of interest. You will work with the systems, electrical, mechanical engineers, and foster a team environment to perform analysis, develop test cases for requirements, define problems, and debug the system for the most complex problems.

**Availability of position is contingent upon contract award**

Responsibilities

You will report directly to the Product Owner and become an integral part of the engineering team. You and your team will be responsible for developing the test plans and procedures, working with the requirements traceability matrix and other engineers to create test cases, and conducting multiple types of tests such as regression, performance, endurance, and acceptance tests.

The Engineering team will research, design, and integrate sensors, platforms, computer systems, and network solutions as guided by the systems requirements documents. This will lead to the development of the first article, and will be documented as part of a greater Technical Data Package. The team will perform factory qualification tests on the first article of each system for the Product Owner. Once ready, the Test and QA engineers will conduct the factory acceptance test for the customer to gain approval for production.

Once the systems are produced, they will be delivered to Egypt for installation, configuration, and final testing. Sensors and platforms will be installed below the sea, on land, and on land-based communication towers. System components will be networked together and powered by solar, generator, battery, or shore power and many of the systems will have a hybrid power solution.
