Job Responsibilities

- Travel to job sites to assist in safely assembling and disassembling company-owned and rented cranes.
- Work with A/D director to learn assembly and disassembly of the different cranes we move and work towards an AD Director Certification.
- Making mechanical repairs to cranes and crane components as needed.
- Driving a service vehicle to different work locations.
- Perform monthly and annual inspections on cranes once they are assembled.
- Must be willing to travel and stay away from home for days and in some cases weeks at a time.
- Basic rigging skills at a minimum and a willingness to learn.
- 5 years of experience in the heavy construction industry.
- Crane signal person certification or be willing to obtain.
- Crane operator certification from an accredited organization (NCCCO, NCCER) preferred.
- Basic mechanic tools.
- Driver's license.
- Must have basic computer skills.
- S/he must pay attention to detail, be a self-starter, and be able to communicate effectively with clients and peers.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
