Microchip's Discrete Products Group (DPG) offers one of the industry's most comprehensive power and R.F./microwave discrete semiconductor product portfolios. The DPG encompasses two business units, the Power Discrete & Modules B.U. and the R.F./Microwave Discretes BU. Markets the PDM & RF/MW Discretes BU's address include alternative energy, industrial, medical, defense, commercial aviation, communications, embedded systems, motor control, power solutions, sensors, and security.
We are looking for a pro-active, eager, and assertive Engineer I - Manufacturing who enjoys working within a team environment. In this role, you will actively contribute to the engineering efforts required for the manufacturing of High-Reliability products and related process and product developments. The position is Electrically oriented and will operate among a variety of engineering disciplines.
This is an experience-rich opportunity for a new college grad Engineer I - Manufacturing with a B.S. Degree Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering to work alongside a team of experienced manufacturing engineers. In this fast-paced collegial environment, the selected candidate will quickly develop within a role characterized as having high levels of autonomy immersed within the full support of a mentoring group of senior engineers.
