Job Description:

We are looking for an Engineer I - Test to join our team to support our DPG product line.

Job Description:

  • Knowledge of RF test equipment, network analyzers, PNA-X, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, DC and RF sources, various hardware interfaces, probes.
  • Familiarity with RF MMIC amplifiers and switches along with basic concepts such as complex numbers, s-parameters, transmission lines, Smith chart, tuning, gain, insertion loss, return loss, IP3, noise figure, power, dB, dBm.
  • Excellent communication skills and show initiative in day-to-day work.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Ensure hardware requirements are met and test procedures and diagrams are followed.
  • Troubleshoot test setups, calibrations, or any anomalies in data to identify root cause and to develop solutions.
  • Software programming skills in C#, Visual Studio and Excel are a plus.
  • Manage multiple projects and deliver commitments to customers.
  • Utilize RF/Microwave test equipment, test fixtures, RF and DC probes and various microwave measurement techniques.
  • Setting up and using a semi-automatic probe station based on specific test requirements and RF probing on-wafer or on die mounted carrier plates using an in-house software application.
  • Carry out custom test setups when specific data is requested.
  • Prepare and present engineering test reports with plots and communicate complex engineering concepts to development team members.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) preferably in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering degree.
  • 0-2 years of test and/or troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word, One Note).
