Process Engineer, Photolithography

Job Description:

Photolithography Engineer responsible for sustaining existing GaAs, GaN, InP, and Si processes and developing new processes in Photolithography in the wafer fab. Specific responsibilities include: sustain the photo area to meet all factory indicators; plans and conducts experiments to fully characterize the process throughout the development cycle; drives improvements on quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety/ergonomic over variables such as material, method, equipment, environment and operating personnel. Successful candidate develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications:

  • BS or MS degree in Engineering with 2+ years of experience in Photolithography.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in compound semiconductor processes.
  • Hands on working experience with i-line steppers or photoresist coat and develop equipment.
  • Able to work with Design/Layout team in mask reviews to ensure all requirements are captured in order to make manufacturable processes.
  • Specific semiconductor skills include solid understanding of IC processing, data mining and statistics, SPC, DOE, Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem solving.
  • Must have a proven track record of solving technical problems, project ownership, meeting deadlines, and multitasking.
  • Must display strong sense of ownership, drive, and dedication to the improvement of the photolithography process area.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross functional teams to solve problems and improve processes.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including technical writing for summarizing data, sharing learnings, and writing process and equipment instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Due to ITAR restrictions, must be US citizen or Permanent Resident.
