RFK Community Alliance provides 24-hour treatment and care to youth that present with trauma, mental health challenges, and learning disabilities. We are looking for team members for our critical third shift as nighttime can be a challenging time for our youth. It is important that our youth know there is always a trusted, alert, and awake adult around should they wake during the night for any reason. The Awake Overnight provides supervision of the youth throughout the night, providing compassionate care and support if they are having difficulty sleeping or have any needs during the night. Some of the tasks include nightly implementation of bedtime and wake-up routines, activities, supervision of clients, regular bed checks and rounds, implementation of individual client treatment plans, the development and maintenance of therapeutic relationships with youth, and consistent supervision of youth. Requirements:
Individuals should possess excellent childcare and verbal intervention skills, demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, prefer bachelor's degree in a related Human Service Field, as well as a minimum of one year of residential experience, however, will consider a High School Diploma and experience.
