TheLipton Early Intervention team provides strength-based, family-centered services for young children under three years of age who have developmental delays or are at risk of a developmental delay. The Clinical Supervisor will provide supervision and training to early intervention staff. Responsible for the operation of the center-based group component of the Early Intervention Program. Provide strength-based direct services and coordinate service delivery. Support and encourage the family's use of and access to community-based resources that will continue to support the child's development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and/or group supervision to staff as defined by EI program (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and in accordance with agency policy and procedures.

  • Assist EI Director in preparation of annual EI staff performance appraisals.

  • As directed by EI Director assist with onboarding training to new staff as well as training and coaching to ongoing staff.

  • Responsible for oversight and coordination of EI group programming, including:

  • Assigning clients, service delivery, transportation, facilitating group sessions, following health related protocols, coordinating EI group leaders and teacher aides, developing, and selecting curriculum, selecting developmental and educational toys, equipment, and supplies.

  • Provide program leadership coverage as directed by the EI Director in the absence of other EI leadership.

  • Ensures all center-based program policies/protocols/guidelines are followed as described by the Department of Public Health/Early Intervention Operational Standards, CHL-Lipton Early Intervention Program, and the Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) when applicable.

  • In coordination with EI Director implements program policies and guidelines.

  • Communicates and completes reports for any group and/or building related problems to EI Director and appropriate CHL personnel.

  • Coordinates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual group tasks.

  • Collaborates with local and state agencies as needed.

  • Maintains client and administrative record according to DPH and CHL-Lipton Early Intervention Policies and Standards.

  • Carries a small caseload as EI Specialist when directed by EI Director.

  • Ensures that Early Intervention services are provided in-person and Telehealth, in home, office, and/or in the community.

  • Complies with CHL and Child Division program policies, procedures, and objectives.

  • Attends variety of CHL and/or program meetings, conferences, and trainings as required or directed.

  • Maintains confidentiality.

  • Works as part of a team to contribute to the overall success of the program.

  • Performs other program related duties as assigned by the EI Director.

  • Respects diverse views and approaches and contributes to maintaining an environment of professionalism, tolerance, civility, and acceptance toward all employees, patients, and visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited institution with a major concentration in infants and toddlers - Early Intervention, Childhood Education, Special Education OR Speech and Language Pathology; Social Worker; Mental Health Counseling; Occupational Therapy; Registered Nursing; Physical Therapy. Master's Degree preferred.

  • Early Intervention experience required (2 years minimum)

  • Supervisory and/or Leadership experience required.

  • Early Intervention Specialist Certification preferred (EICS).

  • EEC Certification preferred.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suites and experience with using electronic health records.

  • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide a registered and insured automobile for work related purposes, including travel between work sites.
