Drafter

We are hiring a drafter to work with the Lowell-based wafer fabrication facility. On-the-job training will be provided to the right individual. This position is on-site at MACOM's Lowell, MA campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with electronic design engineers to generate final tape-out data for semiconductor mask fabrication
  • Perform mask release documentation and design rule checking
  • Interface with vendors to order semiconductor photo masks
  • Facilitate mask design updates and rework
  • Generate engineering drawings for printed circuit board designs and assembly prints
  • Maintain product documentation and engineering change orders

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years minimum experience with HS diploma, or 3 years with associate degree or other technical training
  • Prior experience with CAD platforms such as AutoCAD, Altium, Keysight ADS, Solidworks, DW2000, or Virtuoso
  • Knowledgeable in drafting standards and best practices
  • Basic understanding of electronic circuits
  • Prior experience with semiconductor mask design is strongly desired
  • Detail oriented and quality focused
