Overview

The Associate Executive Director for Brightview will embrace the vision, the mission and the vibrancy of the organization and will help lead a team in creating and maintaining a vibrant and engaging living environment for Brightview residents... and a great place to work for its Associates.

We are currently hiring an Associate Executive Director for Brightview's New England region. This includes our 6 communities in Massachusetts and 1 in Rhode Island.


Responsibilities

In this role, you will work in an entrepreneurial environment and will be empowered to assist with leading your community with creativity and independence. You will help the Executive Director oversee day to day business operations to ensure exceptional quality and service, sustained resident satisfaction and associate engagement, operational efficiency, and strong financial results.

As the Associate Executive Director, you'll be involved in every facet of the operation - Hospitality, Health Services, Dining, Programming, Sales, Maintenance, and the Business Office. You'll have the opportunity to truly make your mark while making a difference in the lives of both residents and associates.

We will leverage your existing leadership, management, and customer service skills, and in turn we will give you the experience and information you'll need to be successful in the future as an Executive Director for Brightview in this region.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Supervisory responsibilities will be determined by community but generally consist of the direct oversight of three to five department heads, assisting the Executive Director with the direction of the remaining Department Heads and all other associates as indirect reports. You'll carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Brightview's policies and procedures and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training associates; planning, assigning and directing work; evaluating performance; rewarding and disciplining associates and addressing complaints and resolving problems.


Compensation Disclosure

$95,000 - $105,000 / year

The salary range displayed above represents the potential pay available for this role. It does not include bonus or additional incentives (if eligible), and does not include benefits. A candidate's offer will take into consideration experience, qualifications, location, size of community (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview reviews and adjusts compensation ranges at least once a year.


Qualifications

With our residents in mind, the right candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • One to three years of management experience in a similar environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office products, internet and industry specific software programs for marketing, payroll and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Meet state licensing requirements (where applicable).
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and manage multiple tasks.
  • Problem analysis and resolution skills at both strategic and functional levels.
