Job Description:

The Production Supervisor will provide daily direction and assistance to the work group to meet assigned objectives. Work with the manufacturing staff to achieve company goals by communicating expectations, planning, monitoring, and evaluating job results and employee performance. Make decisions, apply concepts to issues of moderate complexity, and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities

* Direct the work activities of hourly employees in the assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of products.

* Facilitate the hourly workforce by setting clear expectations on production output, EHS compliance, and quality workmanship.

* Responsible for daily workflow, job allocations and shift support coordination.

* Develop and maintain a positive and respectful work environment with all employees.

* Assure compliance with all company procedures to ensure quality. * Compile and analyze production records. Quality, OTD, Effective hours, etc. and provide weekly status to management.

* Help coordinate production focused improvement programs.

* Recruit, hire, and train employees. Creates job descriptions, perform interviews, make recommendations for hire and develop training plans.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Production / Operations Management)

* Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

* Understanding of principles of Lean Manufacturing and six-sigma and how to effectively utilize the selected tools.

* Understanding of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) with proficiency in AX-2012
