Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Chelmsford, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The client seeks a Radio Frequency Engineer to support a short-term service.
  • This position will support architects and designers of radio frequency systems and circuitry.
  • The ideal candidate will design and develop RF circuitry in high-frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers.
  • Responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and testing.
  • Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.
  • Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase.
  • In addition, develops RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements, and transmission line equipment.
  • Performs link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources.
  • Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements.
  • Identifies and tracks RF technical performance measurements (TPMs).
  • Performs RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis.
  • Supports Life Cycle Costs, reliability, availability, and maintainability analysis.

Pay: $75.00 Hourly OT40.

Hours: 4/10A-1st Shift.

Length: Temp (4 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Radio Frequency.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with RF Hardware.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience in ARF Design tool, specifically Keysight ADS.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with Microwave test and simulation.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
