Located just outside of Boston in Wakefield Massachusetts is Wakefield Eye Associates. The practice is looking to add a dedicated part-time optometrist to the team as soon as possible. Since its inception in 1989, this well-established practice has taken a positive approach to providing all patients with top-notch full-scope optometry care while offering a diverse range of solutions such as annual eye examinations, contact lens fittings, contact lens checkups, and pediatric eye care. The practice also offers top-quality eyewear through a professional team of qualified Registered Opticians. The practice's state-of-the-art technology and expertise guarantee the best possible outcomes for each individual.

What you'll do:
Practicing as a part-time Optometrist in this dynamic practice, you can look forward to a fulfilling and rewarding day ahead, caring for all types of patients as each day brings something new. You'll provide personalized and individualized optometry to patients of all ages by way of visual and medical diagnoses. The
practice is equipped with excellent technology for full-scope medical optometry. This includes two American Optical phoropters, a Topcon KR 8900 Auto-refractor, Canon CR4-45NM Non-Mydriatic Retinal Camera, Keeler Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscope, and Humphrey Visual Field Analyzer. With these advanced tools, comprehensive eye tests can be confidently conducted, resulting in precise diagnoses and tailored solutions. The weekly schedule is Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with two exams per hour and a 30-minute lunch break at 12:30 PM, treating around 16 patients daily. On Wednesdays, the schedule is from 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM with ten exams, two per hour. Required

contact lens check-ups are conducted between routine visual examinations.
