The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
  • Providing direct patient care in an ambulatory clinical setting with an interdisciplinary team of developmental-behavioral pediatricians, psychologists, and APRNs providing neurodevelopmental evaluations and on-going follow up for children age birth thru adolescence. Presenting concerns include Elimination Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, and ADHD.
  • Assessing patients' medical, behavioral, and psychological needs and conditions
  • Prescribing and monitoring behavioral health medications
  • Providing psycho-education and behavioral recommendations
  • Partnering with Nursing, Physician and Administrative Leaders supporting clinical operations, sharing accountability for safe, effective, high quality care within the ambulatory Clinic.
  • Working closely with the APRN director and Division leadership to provide oversight and support for clinical operations

To qualify, you must have:

  • A Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
  • Strong physical assessment and diagnostic skills important, as well as an interest in developmental/behavioral pediatrics.
  • 3+ years pediatric experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse preferred.
  • Experience with Developmental/Behavioral pedi patients preferred.
  • Experience in leadership/team building a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
