Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 10+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 8 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Radiation Effects Engineer, you will lead GDMS efforts to ensure our designs survive and perform in their mission environments. You will be responsible for the technical success of the project and mentoring of the Radiation Effects Engineering team.

Position Objectives:

  • Develop and provide technical leadership of a Radiation Effects Engineering team providing a competitive edge to GDMS programs
  • Ensure the technical success of GDMS radiation effects efforts
  • Drive new technology and capabilities initiatives and road-maps
  • Ensure the success of the mission through proactive program engagement and innovative ideas

Target salary range: USD $184,100.00/Yr. - USD $192,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
