Overview

Locana, recently acquired by TRC, is looking for an experienced Principal GIS Consultant to join its leadership team and support the development and execution of industry leading solutions for some of North America's largest electric and gas utilities. In this role you will work directly with our customers, our technical teams, and industry partners to position for, respond to and deliver solutions. This role requires travel up to 50%, otherwise it is fully remote.


Responsibilities

* Leading the implementation of geospatial solutions; from initial strategy to delivery

* Working in collaboration with customers, team members and partners to develop and deliver technology roadmaps, requirements analysis and project planning

* Assembling and leading pursuit teams responding to RFPs - define WBS, scope, schedule, cost, pricing, and teaming partners/subs

* Identifying gaps in the market, new technology and trends that present opportunities for Locana to pursue new business

* Influencing and fostering strong relationships with our customers

* Mentoring team members and supporting them in career aspirations


Qualifications

* 10+ years related experience

* Experience implementing GIS solutions and functional knowledge of leading-edge Esri ArcGIS technology (ArcGIS Pro, Enterprise, Mobile tools)

* Ability to translate business requirements into proposed technical solutions

* Experience managing project teams and the application of project methodologies and tools

* Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills with the ability to proactively engage customers and guide them through clear, concise communication techniques

* Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

* Strong knowledge of project management, including WBS definition, scope, schedule, cost, and pricing

* Ability to travel up to 50%

Salary Range

USD $150,000.00 - USD $180,000.00 /Yr.
