Quanterix is a company that is digitizing biomarker analysis with the goal of advancing the science of precision health. The company's ultra-sensitive detection solution, Simoa, has the potential to change the way in which healthcare is provided today by giving researchers the ability to closely examine the role of biomarkers in the continuum of health to disease. Quanterix' technology is designed to enable much earlier disease detection, better prognosis and precise treatment methods to improve the quality of life and longevity of the population for generations to come. The technology is currently being used for research applications in several therapeutic areas, including oncology, neurology, cardiology, inflammation and infectious disease.

We are looking for a driven and talented Product Verification Engineer to join our expanding team. Collaborating closely with the Verification Manager, this individual will spearhead all activities related to product verification projects.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering
  • 1+ year of experience in biomedical device verification, with a strong understanding of verification testing methodologies
  • 1+ year of wet lab experience, demonstrating proficiency in laboratory techniques and protocols
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as MatLab, Python, C/#/++, R, or Java
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a collaborative spirit and positive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • 3+ years of experience in biomedical device verification, with a strong understanding of verification testing methodologies
  • 3+ years of wet lab experience, demonstrating proficiency in laboratory techniques and protocols
  • Experience using collaboration tools like JIRA for managing AGILE/Waterfall-like testing procedures
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to medical devices, including ISO 13485 and FDA regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
