Role: Lead Desktop Engineer Location: Boston, MA

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Superb communication skills with very good written & spoken English. Strong knowledge in the desktop support area servicing across VDI, Laptops and desktops. Skilled with Windows 10, WebEx, O365, Office issues, basic application solve, etc. Work experience in a financial organization preferred.
  • Own the agreed SLA for the overall engagement of desk side support. Handle the dispatch engineers across various locations. Provide leadership to the team on the floor and be able to perform their yearly performance evaluations. Be the partner concern point for the team and resolve issues or provide vital mentorship. Help manage the client's CMDB for the laptops, desktops, and other peripherals.
  • Help the team follow the standard methodologies and introduce new insights/process to provide relevant service improvements. Strong Service Management (ITIL) knowledge - preferably in ServiceNow environment. Ability to identify tasks which can be left-shifted, automated, or eliminated at the root and implement the planned actions. Establish trust with the client team to help them take the right solution and path.
