Job Summary

Sentara Medical Group has an employment position available for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Sentara Neurology Specialists at their Hampton location. The provider must be able to function independently, complete general neurology assessments, round on patients hospitalized with neurological issues in the acute-care setting. We prefer applicants with prior experience in Neurology as a licensed provider, or who completed a clinical rotation in Neurology, and will consider new graduates.

Position Highlights:

*Monday - Friday; 8a-4p
*100% Inpatient Responsibilities
*Limited Weekend Call - 1 Saturday per month (8a-12p); weekend shift diff included
*Duties: Neurology consultations to include chart review, data interpretation, obtaining a thorough H&P, formulating an assessment and plan, executing orders pertaining to the A&P and corresponding with other treatment teams
*$3,000 CME

Qualifications:

MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required), MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
