Job Description:

Temporary 2-week position

Part-time, casual position, no benefits, $16 per hour

Amherst College invites applications for Casual - Event Support positions. The Casual - Event Support positions are part-time, casual positions, without benefits, starting at $16.00/hour. Given Amherst's distinction as one of the most diverse liberal arts colleges in the country, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ways in which they bring value to and will work towards supporting a broadly diverse community.

Dining Services has openings for various shifts to work the upcoming Commencement and Reunion events on May 24 - 26, 2024, and May 31 - June 2, 2024.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Duties could include set-up and clean-up of campus events, both indoor or outdoors, wait service for buffet and served dinners, and/or other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

Required
