We are seeking a VP, Business Systems to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA office.

Job Summary

Imprivata is seeking a dynamic and experienced VP, Business Systems to lead the strategic planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of all business systems within the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology initiatives support the overall strategic direction of the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business systems analysis, process optimization, systems integration, and project management, coupled with exceptional leadership skills to drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement a comprehensive business systems strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Assess current systems, processes, and technologies to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of business systems.
  • Lead efforts to streamline and optimize business processes through the implementation of innovative systems and technologies.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the business systems team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute a plan for a company wide data strategy, inclusive of appropriate data governance and associated data lake and BI tools.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the business systems department.
  • Set clear goals and objectives for team members and provide ongoing performance feedback and coaching.
  • Identify opportunities for automation to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement process improvements.
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of enterprise-wide systems and applications, ensuring seamless functionality and user adoption.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure alignment and integration of systems with existing infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices related to business systems management and cybersecurity.
  • Mitigate risks and address compliance issues proactively, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned and required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in business systems analysis, process optimization, and/or technology leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex business systems initiatives from concept to implementation.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-wide systems, such as ERP, CRM, and BI tools, as well as emerging technologies and trends.
  • Strong business acumen in Financial business functions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.

This position offers a total compensation range of $319,000.00 to $369,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
