What the Ideal Candidate will do:

  • Responsible for all incoming / outgoing local & international shipments; including:
    • Managing all temporary import bonds for shipments.
    • Interface with customers and customs brokers/agents.
    • Maintaining a database of exports.
  • Price out and order shipping supplies.
  • Identify the opportunities to leverage technologies and drive initiatives to automate processes to scale the capacity and reduce cost.
  • Work effectively as a part of Productions team to resolve issues/constraints.
  • Interface with customers / suppliers to meet commitment dates.
  • Work with customer and suppliers to resolve issues and challenges.
  • Supervise and work with direct report.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • HS diploma or equivalent; degree in vocational trade schoolpreferred but not required.
  • 3+ years shipping/receiving, or material handler experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Demonstrated ability to supervise direct report.
  • UPS and Fed Ex online experience.
  • International shipping experience required.**
  • Knowledge in Exports preferred.
  • Able to use forklift, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes.
  • Excellent customer and vendor relationship management skills.
  • Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills. Microsoft Excel & ERP/MRP experience (SAP preferred)
  • Self-directed and a well-organized professional who is a good team player. Strong desire for organization and efficiency.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand and sit.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Being able to and available to travel to domestic destinations for work.
  • Alcohol / Drug testing required-FAA requirement.
  • Eye Exam-ISO Requirement.
