About Us
Brigham and Women's Harbor Medical Associates, a member of Mass General Brigham Medical Group, is a multispecialty, primary care practice with more than 65 physicians. We have several offices across the South Shore and are affiliated with Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dana-Farber Brigham Cancer Center, and South Shore Hospital.
We believe that patient care comes first. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff recognize the importance of prompt, expert, and compassionate care for patients whose needs span from general health maintenance to treatment for complex medical problems.
Our Team
We are located at 56 New Driftway (Suite 101) in Scituate, MA. As an Internal Medicine office, we offer a full range of primary care services - from routine check-ups and health screenings to complex diagnostic evaluation and treatment - for adult patients. With only 6 providers total, our small yet mighty team operates in a close-knit, supportive, and collaborative practice environment.
Are you ready to bring your talent to this office and join us in moving community-based ambulatory care forward?
The Opportunity
We are seeking a full-time, 40-hour Medical Assistant to support our practice onsite Monday through Friday, from 8:30am to 5:00pm. As true partners to our providers, our Medical Assistants get the opportunity to work autonomously to the top of their education/certification while also functioning as part of the care team. We ideally aim to have our clinical support staff members working 1:1 with an assigned provider, but they do cross-cover, rotate, and collaborate with other providers as needed. They see upwards of 20+ patients per day.
Responsibilities include:
Please note: we do our best to keep all employees in their assigned departments; however, you may also be asked to float to other departments or other sites during orientation (for training/precepting purposes) or during times of staffing shortages/other extenuating circumstances (for cross-coverage purposes). Medical Assistants employed by this practice routinely cross-cover in our onsite Walk-In Phlebotomy Lab as well.
Qualifications
When hiring, we look for candidates who possess not only relevant qualifications, skills, and competencies, but also positive attitudes, empathy, and genuine passion for the work.
