We are seeking a talented exhibition graphic designer to join our team. Our team has a dynamic aesthetic and diverse talents covering a variety of creative experiences-exhibition and experience design, interior design and space planning, the performing arts (dance, music and/or theatre), and graphic design for print and exhibitions. The Exhibition Design Department's work encompasses changing exhibitions (at 2,500-10,000 square feet each). We work in a collaborative team that conceptualize, interpret, design and implement these projects.

The position requires a minimum of five-year's demonstrated industry experience in a design environment, preferably in a museum or office/studio, and a working knowledge of graphic production materials, techniques, and design principles, including those related to accessibility. You must be able to develop graphic design from concept thru on-floor installation and assist in the management of production budgets and workflow. Organization and time-management skills are vital to maintain the department's workflow as is managing of production vendors. Finesse with typography, color, and the integration of three-dimensional and graphic design elements are important fundamentals of experience to bring to our Exhibition Design team. Direct experience with exhibition design (vs handheld print) is preferred.

The applicant should have a BA from a design-related institution or a relevant combination of education and experience, and a track record of successful exhibition or comparably ambitious projects in other fields such as the performing arts or experience design. The candidate should also be technically savvy, with a proven knowledge of design software programs on the Mac platform relevant to these positions-Adobe CC and Microsoft Office software at a minimum.
