Job Summary:

The Operations Reporting and Performance Analyst (ORPA) plays an essential role in improving organizational effectiveness by analyzing operational data and identifying opportunities for learning and development. The OPRA collects and analyzes data to assess performance metrics, identifies training needs, and implements strategies to improve employee performance and skill development. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, a passion for learning and development, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.

Key Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement related to employee performance and learning outcomes.
  • Develop regular reports and dashboards to communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) and learning metrics to stakeholders.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by analyzing learner feedback, performance metrics, and business impact to improve learning initiatives continuously.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to track learner progress, measure training effectiveness, and identify opportunities for optimizing learning experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement in learning and development initiatives and implement best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure the quality and timeliness of assigned deliverables.
  • Attend project meetings as needed and report meeting details to the appropriate parties.
  • Focus on transparency and execution to positively impact the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Direct supervision is received weekly or as needed.

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Education, related field, or the equivalent combination of training and experience.

Experience Required:

  • 3+ years' experience in data analysis, reporting, and performance measurement, preferably in an operational environment.

Experience Preferred/Desirable:

  • Prior experience within a health plan operational environment.
  • Prior experience within a learning and development environment.
  • Prior experience with process improvement methodologies.

Required Licensure, Certification, or Conditions of Employment:

  • Project Management certification preferred.
  • Adult Learning certification preferred.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Competencies, Skills, and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook required
  • Demonstrated organization, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Skills and experience in collaboration and team building.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, drive work forward with little supervision.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders.
  • Proactive, motivated, and a collaborative team player.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to analyze, compile, format, and present data to a variety of stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability of managing competing priorities as well as stakeholders with differing objectives/perspectives.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the position.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.
