Job Description

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Milford, MA on the 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm). Responsibilities include daily facility, production floor, and building startup and shutdown, routine system preventive maintenance such as system cleaning, filter or pump changes as well as performing daily system checks to ensure that all chillers, pumps, temperatures, and sufficient gas levels are maintained and tracked. Corrective Maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform system maintenance on all systems and support equipment.
  • Cleaning and leak checking of all systems as well as cleaning of all components and tools after maintenance.
  • Packaging and preparing for shipment, all components that require being sent to outside vendors for cleaning or repairs.
  • Completing the daily maintenance and system checks.
  • Updating Excel maintenance and PM records.
  • Physically qualified and able to use SAR units.
  • Read & interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Have the basic knowledge and understanding of electronic test equipment.
  • Assist the maintenance team in the development of new maintenance procedures and updating current procedures.

Equipment to be used by Employee:

  • PC based Systems.
  • Wet chemical stations.
  • Acid pumps.
  • Electronic test equipment.
  • Basic hand tools
  • Man lifts
  • Forklifts
  • All Shop power equipment

Job Qualifications:

  • Education: High school or technical school graduate, similar Military experience, or prior job experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years of maintenance experience
  • Technical Knowledge: Facility and cleanroom experience plus must be mechanically competent.
  • Capable of dealing with a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Possess a high level of Personal Ownership
