Job Summary:
Reporting to the NAKA Supervisor, the Patient Access Scheduling Oncology Infusion Coordinator assists in the daily operations and performs a wide variety of revenue cycle responsibilities and provides support to the physicians and staff in the clinic.
The Patient Access Scheduling Oncology Infusion Coordinator (PASOIC) is a member of the Patient Access Department at Emerson Health. The Infusion Department handles more than 500-600 patient calls or appointments weekly, schedules and registers all services for all outpatient visits.
The PASOIC in this assignment demonstrates a working knowledge of scheduling for Outpatient Services to include but not limited to: Integrated Clinical Services, , and Oncology Infusions.
The PAOISC schedules patients in the outpatient clinic as part of his/her duties. PASOIC's perform these duties face to face with patients in addition to performing patient calls.

Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.Experience:
One year experience working as a coordinator in a clinical setting and/or patient registration/scheduling areas preferred
