Dynetics, a Leidos company, is seeking a talented Calibration Technician to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

The Calibration Technician will coordinate and oversee tools and equipment. Verify ESD workstations, solder stations, micrometers, and calipers. Install and test a variety of calibration and ESD related equipment such as measurement and test tools, assembly tools, ground blocks, wrist strap detectors, ESD workstation, dissipative mat material and flooring.
Ensure that equipment is labeled correctly. Maintain accurate records, ensure calibration is current and NIST-approved, and verify documents and certificates are entered into online tracking tool.
Use various types of test equipment such as multimeters, constant monitor testers, and multiple resistance test kits.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Requires a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent plus two (2) years of applicable measurement and test equipment or other equipment maintenance experience.
  • Should have excellent written, verbal, communication, interpersonal, organizational, electrical, mechanical, and analytical, skills.
  • Should have effective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.
  • Able to lift 35 lbs.
  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.
  • Ability to be mobile for most of the workday.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills including preparing reports and presenting reports to customers
  • Ability to stay focused and succeed in high-stress, dynamic, and fast-paced environments
  • Strong Communication and attention to detail
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance

Pay Range:Pay Range $37,050.00 - $66,975.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
