Why This Role is Important to Us:

Position Summary:

The Senior Investigator, Corporate Compliance & Ethics is responsible for managing and conducting investigations into concerns or reports of violations of the CCA Code of Conduct, policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations. The position will be responsible for investigating issues and concerns reported to the Corporate Compliance & Ethics Department, including CCA's confidential hotline.



What You'll Be Doing:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reviews all incoming reports of incidents and potential violations of misconduct to determine appropriate investigation assignment and response.
  • Leads, conducts, documents and completes investigations in a timely manner following established investigation protocols.
  • Ensures investigations are properly scoped and conducted in a manner that upholds CCA's culture, value, and non-retaliation policy.
  • Manages and oversees continuous improvements to CCA's confidential hotline, incident management and investigation policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Partners with other departments such as Legal and Human Resources as needed on the completion of investigations.
  • Prepares timely, accurate and well-documented reports.
  • Prepares and delivers written and/oral summaries and presentations for senior management.
  • Analyzes and tracks trends across investigations and employee reporting to measure and improve the overall state of the compliance program.
  • Creates and delivers training and communications to enhance understanding of CCA's standards of conduct and to raise awareness of potential ethics and compliance issues.
  • Develops and delivers clear, effective and timely updates for compliance committees, senior management and/or the Board, regarding compliance effectiveness, initiatives and issues, including all relevant metrics, dashboards and information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
