Title: Parking Enforcement Attendant

Rate: $20.00/hr

Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 5:45 am - 2:15 pm

What will I do?

  • Monitor parking lots and parking garages for KP employees who are parking outside of their assigned parking area. Assign parking citations as needed.
  • Using an electronic device, enter citation information into database.
  • Display a caring attitude, develop a rapport with the customer base. Provide directions when KP members ask for assistance.
  • Assist customers in the parking garages, in the parking lots and on occasion help direct traffic.
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude.
  • Take wheelchairs back to the hospital when found in the garage or parking lot areas.
  • Assist Kaiser in keeping your work area clean. If you see garbage, pick it up and put it in a trash can. If you see a spill or broken glass, report it to Kaiser security immediately.
  • On occasion, assist the valet lot as needed. This position will require you to be cross trained as a valet attendant.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.

Experience:

  • Strong customer service experience. This is a customer service job.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Valet experience is preferred but not required.

Skills:

  • Willingness to be flexible, and to work at multiple facility locations (Roseville and Lincoln).
  • Ability to handle challenging and at times, emotionally charged situations.
  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

  • Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
  • Ability to lift, push and pull at least 10 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.
  • Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
