Our facility in Wilmington, MA is responsible for the manufacturing of time sensitive high-energy beta radiation to support the treatment of inoperable liver tumors. We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated, team player, with a passion for making a difference to join our diverse team.

Job Description

The Corporate Accounting Lead needs to perform the following main tasks independently under the supervision of the Director of Accounting:

Overall group consolidation and reporting file preparation independently. Reviewing and validation of the monthly flux analysis. This person also provides regional finance team with technical accounting support and actively participated in the annual audit process from start to finish.

  • Takes ownership of the Company's Group consolidations and monthly process: Work independently and be responsible for the consolidated financial statements and internal management accounts monthly. This includes but is not limited to: Being able to identify abnormal fluctuations in accounts, being able to research and validate the accuracy of financial data presented/provided etc.
  • Optimize and automate the existing monthly consolidation process/file.
  • Review and discuss the balance reconciliations of key companies with various regions to ensure account balances are properly stated. Also look for global consistency and provide guidance to the regional finance team.
  • Review of intercompany balances to ensure they are booked, reconciled, and settled correctly and timely; Work with regions to put in place best practices for intercompany transactions.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual financial statements for the consolidated Group under the supervision of the Director of Accounting. Big 4 or public accounting assurance experience is therefore essential to this role.
  • Provide guidance to the finance and accounting teams under the supervision of the Director of Accounting: accounting treatments relating to ordinary business activities and one-off transactions, including but not limited to, purchase accounting, business dispositions, etc; proper journal entries; maintain chart of accounts and standardize transaction descriptions for improving accounting quality and transparency.
  • Ad-hoc assignments for process optimization and efficiency improvements within the accounting area.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Big 4" or leading public accounting background and minimum of 8 years' relevant global consolidation and reporting work experience is required.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Be able to work independently on the tasks with minimal supervision required.
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to details. We look for someone who understands the what and why before doing something.
  • Team player who works well with others and capable of influence and convince. We are looking for someone who understands what needs to be done and is able to bring the team along with them.
  • Advanced computer skills using Outlook, Word, Excel (ability to perform Pivots, V-lookups, and other functions with Excel).
  • Strong ERP system experience preferred, ideally with SAP.
  • Proactive, nimble, and efficient.

The target base salary range for this position will range from $108,000 to $120,000 annually.Individual compensation for this job requisition will be based on non-discriminatory factors, including your geographic location, skills, experience, education and other factors as they relate to the position requirements. Actual compensation may vary depending on the confirmed job-related skills and experience.

In addition to the expected base compensation, this role is eligible to participate in Sirtex's incentive programs (target bonus of 10% for this position)and benefit plans, which include paid sick and vacation time, health insurance and a generous 401k matching program.
